Upanishad Retreats with Sri M
May 20–22, 2026 & May 25–27, 2026
Sacred Grove, Graham, TX
The Upanishads guide the seeker inward to discover a natural sense of fullness and completeness at the core of one's own being. These ancient texts, considered the culmination of Vedic wisdom, point beyond the thinking mind to the real Self that lives in all.
In Sri M's words, the Upanishads declare that “purna” – fulfillment, fullness, and completeness – is the essential characteristic of one's true being, one's own consciousness free of all distractions, called the Atman. When this Atman, or real Self, is discovered, one reaches a state of perfect happiness and realizes that it exists in every living being, though it often remains untapped.
The word Upanishad itself suggests sitting close to a teacher to receive intimate spiritual instruction. In this spirit, Sri M will personally select and teach from one or more Upanishads (or a similar scripture) for each retreat, making subtle ideas simple and practical for modern seekers. Participants are invited to study with him and quietly reflect on these teachings that reveal the innermost truth of existence.
Attendees may register for both Upanishad retreats.
