When can I visit Sacred Grove?

Participants and volunteers are welcome at Sacred Grove during scheduled retreats and events. Volunteers are also welcome during monthly seva (volunteering) days. 

Where can I stay while I visit Sacred Grove? 

Comfortable on-campus lodging is available during the retreat season. Additionally, several hotels in Graham are within a 20-minute drive of Sacred Grove. Short-term vacation rentals, camp grounds, and RV sites are also available in and around Graham. Visit Graham Texas is a good resource for accommodation options.

Are meals provided/included?

During retreats and events, our 100% volunteer-led kitchen serves fresh, flavorful vegetarian meals inspired by cuisines from around the world.

What is appropriate attire?

We recommend simple, comfortable clothing. Shoes are removed when entering certain spaces such as the meditation hall, yoga hall, and Babaji’s grotto. Since many paths are gravel or natural earth, comfortable closed-toe shoes with sturdy soles are advisable.

Are there any items you recommend us to bring? 

We recommend you bring the following items:

  1. Government-issued photo ID

  2. Reusable water bottles (hydration is essential. 

  3. Reusable to-go container (if you need to take meals to-go)

  4. Reusable shopping bag (to carry things around campus)

  5. Flashlight

  6. Comfortable closed-toe shoes

  7. Comfortable clothing

  8. Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and other sun protection

  9. Mosquito repellent

  10. Umbrella or Raincoat

Are there sufficient parking spaces and charging stations for electric vehicles?

Limited parking is available, so we encourage carpooling from your accommodation to Sacred Grove. Please park in the main parking area, located to your right as you enter the property. The parking lot is a short leisurely walk (about 10 minutes) to the main facilities. Shuttle service is available upon request for those with mobility challenges or special needs.

Do you have charging stations for electric vehicles?

Yes. EV chargers are available in the main parking lot for a small fee on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact the book store for assistance with payment.

Can I bring my children? 

All visitors must be registered as attendees or volunteers. The minimum age for participation varies by program; please refer to each retreat’s specific eligibility and age guidelines. For special events such as An Evening with Sri M, children of all ages may attend - see the event’s Registration FAQs for details. All minors must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.

Is the Sacred Grove accessible for wheelchair users or individuals with mobility challenges?

We strive to make all retreats and events accessible and fulfilling for every participant.The tranquil grounds of Sacred Grove are walkable and accessible. Most buildings in the center, including the meditation, yoga, and dining hall, are ADA-compliant. Complimentary shuttles are available between the parking area and the main campus for those who use wheelchairs or need assistance.

Are pets allowed on campus?

For the comfort and safety of all, pets are not allowed on campus, with the exception of service animals

Do you provide Internet connectivity?

Blossom Foundation does not provide internet connectivity on campus.

Is there cellular coverage on campus? 

Verizon and AT&T have limited coverage; other providers may be more reliable. To maintain the sanctity and decorum of Sacred Grove, please limit phone use to urgent calls only - preferably in the parking area or behind the dining hall. Cell phones should remain on silent or switched off in designated areas such as the Grotto, Meditation and Yoga Halls, and Blossom Ponds, as well as during sessions with Sri M.

Are there items that are not allowed?

The following items and activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Smoking, tobacco products, and electronic cigarettes

  • Alcohol

  • Firearms

  • Recreational drugs

  • Meat or meat products

Is the center open year-round for visitors?
