Lodge FAQs
How do I ensure that I share a room with my companion (family or friend)?
If you wish to stay with a companion (friend or family member), please submit a single lodge booking together through your Blossom Foundation user profile so both names are included in the same request.
I want to stay with my family/ friend in the lodge. How shall I submit a single lodge booking?
Reservations are limited to confirmed retreat attendees or volunteers for that specific retreat.
Family: Through your Blossom Foundation profile, you can register family members (such as spouse/partner and children/dependents) who are linked to your account. Please ensure that all family members are added to your profile before including them in a lodge registration.
Friends (this retreat season only): For this retreat season, you can also register friends who are linked to your account. Please add your friends to your profile before including them in a lodge registration. Friend connections are valid only for the current retreat season.
What are the room sharing guidelines?
Room sharing between friends is only permitted for guests of the same gender. Friends of different genders cannot be assigned as roommates.
Family members of different genders may share a room, subject to the lodge’s occupancy limits and age-related guidelines.
If I register for a room in the lodge as a pair, can one person in the pair cancel their booking while the other keeps their reservation?
Yes. One person in a pair may cancel their lodge booking while the other retains their reservation. Please submit the cancellation through your Blossom Foundation profile. Please note: All rules pertaining to lodge cancellations and refunds will apply to the person cancelling.
If I book a room by myself, will I have a roommate? Can I be alone in the room?
If you reserve a room as an individual and select double occupancy, you will be paired with a same-gender roommate for the retreat.
If you prefer to stay alone, you must select the single-occupancy option when booking through your profile; this option reserves the entire room for you and does not allow a second guest to be added later.
How do I request a reservation change or cancellation with the foundation?
Lodge cancellations are managed primarily through your Blossom Foundation user profile. Log in, go to your lodge bookings, and follow the prompts to cancel.
Please review the Cancellations and Refunds Policy on the Lodge Registration page for full details.
What if my travel is delayed beyond check-in?
Please note the check-in & check-out time for our lodge guests:
Check-in: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM CT, on the start date of your reservation
Check-out: By 1:00 PM CT on your departure date
If your travel is delayed, please email us at bflodging@blossomfoundation.com with your updated estimated time of arrival (ETA). Entry will not be permitted after 9:00 PM CT, as the campus closes.
No-shows: Failure to check in by 9:00 PM CT on your arrival date, unless you have notified Blossom Foundation in advance, will result in full charges for the reserved stay in accordance with the lodge cancellation policy.
Can I bring children?
Only registered attendees and volunteers are allowed on campus. Anyone who is not a registered attendee or volunteer will not be allowed access to the campus.
Lodge residents between the ages of 14 and 18 must be accompanied by their parent or guardian, who must also be a registered volunteer or attendee for the same event. Both must be lodged together in the same room.
How do lodge bookings work for parents with children, and what are the cancellation rules?
Children need to stay with an accompanying adult on-campus.
If a parent’s retreat registration includes a child and the parent is trying to book a lodge, they will be required to select the child to their lodge booking.
The number of adults has to be equal to or greater than the number of children.
For cancellations initiated by Blossom Foundation, there will be no cancellation fees.
If a parent has an existing lodge booking that includes their child and if they add another child to the group booking, the entire lodge booking will be cancelled and a refund will be processed. The user will not be able to book the lodge room again if it is at capacity or another user makes a lodge booking as the room will be released immediately. The retreat registration will be retained.
Is there Wi-Fi anywhere on campus?
There is no Wi-Fi available on campus. Cell phone coverage also tends to be spotty, especially around the lodge area. The lower parking lot gets better range than most places on campus.
What happens if I need to leave early?
If you need to depart earlier than your planned check‑out, please inform the overall volunteer coordinator and email bflodging@blossomfoundation.com with your lodge booking details. They will advise you on the next steps.
Please note that early departure does not change the lodge refund policy.
What shall I do if I need medical assistance?
If it is a medical emergency, please dial 911 first. There is no medical help on campus. Also call +1 (940) 456-0428 so that the organizing team is aware you have requested emergency personnel to come or to help you get to your vehicle. You may need to go to the closest emergency room in Graham, TX (about a 20 minute drive), as we do not have medical facilities on campus.
Please also bring any personal medications you may need, as these will not be available on site.
I plan to check in one day before the retreat begins and check out one day after the retreat ends. Will I get meals for the entire duration of my stay?
During your stay, all the meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) that fall within the standard check-in and checkout times will be provided at Sacred Grove. If the campus is open and meals are being prepared for volunteers and attendees, you’re welcome to have the meals. Please note that breakfast and lunch may not be provided on check-in day, and lunch and dinner may not be provided during checkout day, as these times are outside the standard check-in and checkout hours. Please let a volunteer coordinator know so
we have an accurate meal count.
Can I go to Graham after the retreat day ends to meet with other attendees/volunteers?
We do not allow re-entry to campus once the Sacred Grove campus closes for the day at 8:00 PM CT. This helps us maintain the decorum of a spiritual retreat on campus for all guests. It is also intended to help you with quiet introspection at the end of a retreat day spent on campus.
Can I access Babaji’s Grotto if I stay in the lodge?
The Grotto is only accessible during the hours announced during the retreat, regardless of your lodging arrangement.
Does staying in the lodge allow me to have a one-on-one session with Sri M?
Private one-on-one sessions with Sri M cannot be accommodated. Each participant will have the opportunity to offer pranams and receive blessings from Sri M during the closing session of the retreat (Refer to Retreat FAQs for Pranams Policy).
I have been initiated into another practice before coming to Blossom Foundation Sacred Grove. May I do my practice while on-campus?
Besides the Kriya yoga practice initiated by Sri M, Blossom Foundation limits the practice that's allowed on campus (including on-campus accommodation) to that which traces back its lineage to Adinath Sri Guru Mahavatar Babaji.
