VOLUNTEERING
We are happy to announce opportunities to volunteer at the Sacred Grove during the May 2020 retreats with Sri M. As many of you know, our programs are run by volunteers.
There will be opportunities to volunteer in the kitchen and dining hall (meal prep, getting dining patio ready, setting up the meal service and washing dishes), managing registration, helping keep traffic flowing smoothly in and out of the property, parking duties, getting the meditation hall ready for the programs and clean up after, keeping Grotto areas clean and other activities.
If you would like to volunteer - Please sign up using the volunteer registration form below by February 03, 2020.
You will be able to share your skills and interest in the volunteer sign up form. It may not always be possible for us to accommodate these preferences and we appreciate your flexibility in this matter.
Kindly note that due to limited budget we are requesting all volunteers to manage their own accommodation and transportation costs.
After retreat registration we will share WhatsApp details for retreat car pooling to enable you to partner with other volunteers and retreat attendees in making the trip to and back from Graham, Texas.
Please note that you will be able to volunteer only for retreat(s) that you are not attending. We would not want to take away from your experience of fully attending the retreat by assigning volunteer work during that time.
We are very pleased to inform you that Holiday Inn Express in Graham located at 1581 US-380 Byp, Graham, TX 76450 will continue to offer special rates for Blossom Foundation guests. The nightly rate will be $85 (inclusive taxes). You will need to call (940) 521-9188 to make your room reservation and mention that you are with "Blossom Foundation".
