KRIYA YOGA RAFFLE SYSTEM FAQ
Raffle Process Description
We will have two separate raffles, one for first-time Kriya participants and the other for already initiated participants. 50% of spots in each Kriya Yoga retreats will be allocated for those that haven't taken initiation by Sri M before. The remaining 50% of spots in each Kriya Yoga retreat will be allocated to those who have already been initiated.
The raffle system is fully automated to ensure a fair and equal opportunity for everyone to secure a spot at a retreat.
Please make sure that you apply using your full name and date of birth as it appears on your government id.
Payment will be taken at the time of the registration for all registrants; refunds will be issued to those that didn't secure spots via the raffle system within 5 business days after the raffles’ results announcement.
To eliminate duplicate registrations across multiple retreats, any registrant who has secured a spot in one of the Kriya retreats will not be considered for the subsequent Kriya Yoga retreats.
The Kriya Yoga retreat registrations will remain open for a period of 24 hours starting at 9AM PT [12pm ET] on July 27th and end at 9AM PT [12pm ET] on July 28th, 2024. All registrations made within this time will be included in the raffle.
Raffle winners will be notified via email by July 31st, 2024
Those who did not get picked in the raffle will be notified via email by July 30th, 2024. Refunds will be processed by Aug 5th, 2024. Please allow up to 5 business days from the date of refund for the payment to process.
Members of the same family are encouraged to register for a retreat in the same shopping cart during registration so they enter the raffle as one unit.
Does the raffle system apply to the Upanishads retreats?
NO. The Upanishads retreats registrations will be on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be open until spots are available.
Do I maximize my chances of securing a spot at the retreat if I register as soon as the Fall 2024 registrations open?
All registrants will have the same and equal opportunity to get picked by the raffle during the 24 hours open to register for the Kriya Yoga retreat. Please do not feel rushed to register as soon we open registration.
Why are we using a raffle system?
Based on feedback from attendees of Spring 2023 retreats and prior, in our effort to make it a smoother and fair process, we are using a raffle system for the Kriya Yoga initiation retreats’ registration process. Allocation of spots for the Kriya Yoga initiation retreats will be done based on a raffle system. The raffle system is fully automated to ensure a fair and equal opportunity for everyone to secure a spot at a retreat.
How do I register multiple family members/friends together for the same retreat?
For Kriya Yoga initiation retreats, members of the same family are encouraged to register for a retreat in the same shopping cart during registration so they enter the raffle as one unit.
For Upanishads, there is no raffle but you can still register multiple family members/friends as one unit and add them to the same shopping cart during registration.
